Lake Tanganyika is the second deepest lake in the world . This lake is 675 km long and 50 km wide and has a maximum depth of 1,470 meters. Its waters, which are sweet and alkaline are considered the cleanest in the world . The water on the surface of the lake, has an average temperature of 25 ° C , which is ideal for swimming and diving. From a biological point of view, this is one of the richest places on earth with more than 500 species of fish that inhabit its waters.
Victoria Falls are one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. They are located on the Zambezi River , which is here the border between Zambia , near the town of Livingstone, and Zimbabwe. The river empties into the cataract of about 1700 meters wide and a height of up to a maximum of 108 meters. They give a particularly remarkable sight , their particular disposition - they flow into a long break the plateau, to escape through a narrow canyon.
