  • Our relationship with music stretches far back to before we were born. Our tiny little ears were serenaded by our mother’s strong resilient heartbeat. That is how close I am to my music. I only write about things that matter to me,
things that deeply touch my heart. If I’m not moved by my music, then I can’t possibly expect you to be. I’ve been a serious student of music since I was 6 years old. I’m a classically trained pianist and former opera singer. It wasn’t until 2017 that I made the transition into releasing my own singles. All of my music is written, arranged, and produced right here in the rockies. Each song unravels a piece of my heart on an issue that I deem fitting enough to be sung about. My first solo single, “Who Are You”, was release shortly after I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Luckily we finished the recording before my accident. I received the final master while hooked up in my hospital bed up on the 11th floor of Foothills Hospital in the Neurosurgery department. Ironically I wrote “Who Are You” for Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness, an anthem to memory loss. I never knew I’d lose a portion of my own short term memory during the release of the song. It is now my own personal anthem, a manifesto of sorts. It is the first song I wrote and recorded prior to my brain injury and unfortunately my last. All songs henceforth were/are milestones in the journey of my recovery. I’m honored by everyone who has joined me along the way. Music motivates me, worldy matters fill me with passion, and writing songs embued with meaning gives me hope.
